Maxim Prime steakhouse has opened its rooftop lounge atop The Glenn Hotel. In addition to the bi-level restaurant that features a lounge, restaurant and two private dining rooms, the rooftop lounge offers impressive views of Atlanta’s downtown skyline and includes a full-service bar, a combination of lounge and bar seating and a mobile DJ booth. The rooftop is open from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Wednesday through Friday and until 2 a.m. on Saturday. Atlanta’s Maxim Prime is the first of 25 locations to open around the world in the next five years including planned locations in New York, San Diego, Miami and Denver as well as the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. Each Maxim Prime will reflect the culinary heritage of its host city by incorporating signature regional elements (for example, Atlanta features a version of shrimp and grits with tasso, as well as a fried green tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad stack).
The restaurant is located at 110 Marietta St NW, next to CNN, Philips Arena and the Georgia Dome and within walking distance to the Georgia World Congress Center and Centennial Olympic Park.
