Quick Bites

NEO, a contemporary Italian restaurant is now open on the ground floor of the ultra-luxury condo building, The Mansion, on Peachtree Road in Buckhead. Folks are already raving about the attentive service and the giant bar.

Tongue & Groove, the restaurant and nightspot once located in Buckhead Village, will reopen in Lindbergh City Center off Piedmont Road sometime this summer.

Simcha Bakery, the city's only kosher bakery, is now open in Toco Hill Shopping Center offering freshly baked bagels, knishes, croissants and chocolate puff pastry. All products are certified 100 percent dairy free. www.simchabakery.com.

Manuel's Tavern in the Poncey-Highland neighorhood was named one of America's best bars by Esquire magazine. The bar, at the corner of North Avenue and N. Highland, was opened by politician Manuel Maloof in 1956 and has been a gathering spot for journalists, politicos and locals ever since.
