"Top Chef" contestant Richard Blais resigned his duties at HOME in Buckhead to concentrate on his new burger joint, Flip, expected to open this fall, and a new culinary company he's started called Trail-Blais. The Grange has opened in Decatur at 426 W. Ponce de Leon offering up pub grub and a large selection of beer and ales.
The founders of Muss & Turner's in Vinings will open a new restaurant in Buckhead, with details to be announced soon.
Trader Vic's will host Lavapalooza on Saturday, Sept. 13, offering a day of luau-style food, cocktails and live entertainment. The event will be held poolside at the Downtown Hilton hotel with tasting stations and a bar set up. Things kick off at 1 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
