Bistro 191 & Bean Counter Open @ 191 Peachtree

Restaurateurs John C. Metz Jr. and Tom DiGiorgio of Sterling Spoon Management Services, along with market partner Mark McCagg of Cousins Properties, have opened a new café and coffee bar, Bistro 191 and The Bean Counter, in Downtown Atlanta’s 191 Peachtree Tower. Through this new partnership with Cousins Properties, Sterling Spoon plans to continue expanding throughout the Atlanta market.

Bistro 191 is an upscale café designed to defy the common reputation of an office building cafeteria.  The interior of the bistro and full service coffee bar is rich with mahogany wood and city tile, offering guests a more comfortable environment when picking up quick lunch or grabbing a morning coffee.  Much like Sterling Spoon’s other ventures (Marlow’s Tavern and Aqua Blue), Bistro 191 will offer only use the freshest products and quality ingredients.  The Bean Counter’s Caribou Coffee menu will give guests a selection of delicious roasts and flavors to choose from.

“We believe this café will give office workers something different from the everyday brown-bag lunch,” says Sterling Spoon Management Services Partner John Metz.  “Here, guests can have a quality meal in a timely fashion, at a great value.”

Bistro 191 will feature American classics, unique salads, a market deli, an Asian grill and a full-service catering company.  All dishes will be prepared fresh daily and range in price from $3 to $10.  The Bean Counter, the coffee counterpart in the café, will proudly brew Caribou Coffee daily.  It will also offer a full menu of coffee varieties, including iced and frozen beverages, ranging in price from $2 to $5.

Bistro 191 and The Bean Counter are open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.  All major credit cards are accepted and parking is available in the deck attached to the building.  For more information, please call (404) 849-7097or visit www.sterlingspoon.com.
