This Mardi Gras, let the good times roll at PARISH: Foods & Goods. Fans of Mardi Gras festivities should mark their calendars for Saturday, Feb. 21 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for an entire day of great eating, drinking and live music by acclaimed Charlie Wooten's Zydefunk. In the spirit of food, fun and community, donations will be accepted on behalf of the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Tents, heaters and Louisiana cuisine will make for a wild winter Mardi Gras party at PARISH!
Hungry revelers will enjoy all you can eat crawfish and oysters as well as a whole roasted pig. Guests can quench their thirst with traditional Crescent City beverages including Abita beer, oyster shooters and the infamous Hurricanes. Green, purple and yellow decorations and the essential beads will set the carnival mood. Tickets cost $35 in advance and $40 at the door and include unlimited food and drink with some special menu items available for an additional cost. The ticket also includes admission to get down with Zydefunk, self-described as "a gumbo of Louisiana groove." A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
