The dogwoods will bloom early this year when the Dogwood Festival celebrates spring with its traditional fundraising party, Arts In Bloom, being held this year at Lit Kitchen. For the first time the party will feature a special Chef Competition. The Dogwood Festival will welcome some of Atlanta's top chefs for a friendly multi-round cook-off during the party. Winners will be chosen by a panel of celebrity judges.
Guests at the fundraiser will also enjoy food from a variety of Atlanta's favorite restaurants, a wine tasting selected to highlight the special cuisine, a silent auction and a first look at the 2009 High School Art Exhibit winners.
The Arts In Bloom Fundraising Party will be held Thursday, March 19, from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $75 in advance, and $85 at door. Proceeds from the event benefit the Atlanta Dogwood Festival.
