Mardi Gras in Little FIve


Front Page News in Little Five Points is the place to be on Saturday, February 21st for the 2nd Annual Little Five Points Mardi Gras Music & Food Festival. Gates open at 2pm for this All Day Music, Food & Drink Celebration featuring 5 bands along with New Orleans food & beverages.

Live music will be featured with headliner Kingsized. Just like the New Orleans Jazz Festival with its mix of entertainment this festival will also feature New Orleans rock with The Squirrelheads, Blues Rock with Totally Savage, and Classic Rock Covers from the Little Five Points based band, Webster. The Seed and Feed Marching Abominable, "Atlanta's Wildest Community Band," will also be at the festival throughout the day.

A New Orleans menu with Jambalaya, Crawfish, Beans and Rice, and Muffaletta will be offered along with SoCo Hurricanes drinks and Abita Amber beer plus Mardi Gras beads and other giveaways. This outdoor event will be held rain or shine in the huge back parking lot behind the Front Page News in Little Five Points located at 351 A Moreland Ave. Tents and heaters will be brought in case of inclement weather.
