Celebrate The 4th With Food & Drink

Here's a few suggestions on where to celebrate Independence Day if you're looking for food, drink and merriment this busy holiday weekend:

When you're bobbing and weaving your way down Peachtree in the Peachtree Road Race, you'll run right by it... Eat, drink & watch fireworks at SunDial

Instead of deciding on one vantage point to enjoy this Fourth of July’s fireworks, The Sun Dial Restaurant, Bar and View high atop the Westin Peachtree Plaza gives diners the perfect vantage point to see multiple displays from around the metro area.  

The View level will once again host Picnic in the Pods from 7 to 11 p.m., featuring buffet-style picnic fare that includes chicken fingers, corn dogs and potato salad.  Tickets are $40 for adults and $20 for children ages six to 12.  Children five and under are free.  For a more formal dining experience, The Restaurant level will serve a three-course prix fixe menu for $65 per person 5:30 to 11 p.m.  The Bar level will also be open from 2 p.m. – close with a $15 cover charged to patrons after 4 p.m. who are not dining in the restaurant.
