Blues, Brews, and BBQ Festival

South City Kitchen Vinings is hosting a three-day Blues, Brews, and BBQ festival the weekend of June 5th. The celebration will feature live blues performances from local bands, a special barbecue menu, and a selection of local Sweetwater beer.

The recipes prepared by South City Kitchen's innovative chefs include a variety of smoked and barbecued meats and fish. Offerings include a fourteen hour smoked beef brisket with picked Vidalia onions, spiced Coca-Cola jus and a side of garlic collards and barbecued Mahi Mahi with white cheddar grits and barbecue butter.

Rockin' Blues & BBQ Festival Tomorrow

This first year event will feature live blues, American beer & southern barbecue for an all day festival celebrating Memorial Day. The Rockin Blues, Brews & Barbecue Festival will be held Sunday, May 25, from 2 pm - 10 pm at Park Tavern located at 500 10th St. NE on the corner of Piedmont Park. 

The day will start with Danny "Mudcat" Dudeck playing an acoustic show. Next is Atlanta blues legend Francine Reed backed up by Java Monkey. The rockin blues of Delta Moon will be wrapping up the evening as the final act.
