Tastings, A Wine Experience located at 335A West Ponce de Leon Ave. in Decatur offers weekly cheese and wine tastings. Below you will find the list of upcoming events.

Oct. 22- Italian
Italy is home to some of the oldest wine producing regions in the world. Grapes are grown in almost every part of Italy, with more than 1 million vineyards in cultivation. Wine is part of their everyday lives and heritage. Take a trip through these Italian wineries with us.

Oct. 29- "Spooky Bottle" Night
The name give to a wine and label created by the winery have proven to be eye catching. Some bottles even have "spooky" names to peak your interest. Come in and taste these "evil" titles with us.

Oct. 31 -Terrapin Big Hoppy Monster & Friends
Big Hoppy Monster has arrived! Join us as we taste this Imperial Red Ale along with his other
Terrapin buddies and a fabulous cheese pairing.

Nov. 4, 6:30PM – Red, White and Brews Election Party!
Join us as we view the election and participate in events and specials. Here is what’s on for the night: Warsteiner Beer Tasting, Election Trivia - 3 rounds with a grand prize, Special Election themed cocktails, Beer specials, and to give everyone a break in this difficult economy, we will offer 1/2 off pizza, sandwiches, salads, house wines and draft beer.

Nov. 5-Cheese Tasting: Rembrandt Two Year Aged Gouda

Nov. 19- Warm Wines for Cool Nights
Fall is quickly giving way to winter and what better way to celebrate than with wines to warm the soul! Nothing is quite as satisfying as drinking a big, bold wine on a cold frosty night. Join us in tasting a selection of juicy Cabernet Sauvignons, rustic Italians, zesty Zinfandels, Ports and more!

Nov. 26 ~ Holiday Wines
The holiday time is stressful enough, but now you have to choose a wine to bring to the party? Have no fear; we have selected some fantastic wines that will go with a variety of holiday menus without breaking the bank. As always, all wines featured at the tasting are 10% off, so this is the perfect opportunity to stock up on your wine!

Nov. 28 – American Porter

Porter was initially imported to the American colonies, but by the 1700s it was being commercially  brewed, especially in New England and Pennsylvania. Because of high costs of importing barley,  adjuncts were often employed including sugar, molasses, corn and licorice As a result, American  porter differentiated from the English and Irish versions. We will also feature a wonderful cheese  pairing at this tasting!
