Valentine's Dinner in Atlanta

Love is in the air and so are the savory scents from the kitchens of some of Atlanta's hottest restaurants. This Valentine's Day, Atlantans can show their love by treating their sweeties to a delicious dinner for two, on any kind of budget.

If diners are looking to take their dates outside of the perimeter, then Aqua blue restaurant is the perfect place for an intimate setting and fabulous fare. Located in the heart of Roswell, Aqua blue is offering guests a special prix-fixe Valentine's Day menu of three courses for $55 per person with the option of adding wine pairings for an additional $22 per person. For an evening in the city, Dogwood restaurant will sweep any date right off their feet. This Valentine's Day, Chef Shane Touhy whips up some new delectable dishes that will capture the hearts (and stomachs) of any couple. These special menu items include a jumbo shrimp cocktail with charred green tomato cocktail sauce; Charleston she-crab soup laced with golden sherry; a pastry wrapped filet of beef stuffed with Boursin cheese; and a red velvet Napoleon layered with mocha buttercream and topped with Cabernet macerated strawberries. Eclipse di Luna at Miami Circle is celebrating the day of love with a great deal on cool cocktails and delicious desserts. The bar will be serving up a strawberry and ginger Mojito, chocolate kiss martini, berry love martini and a special Red Bull drink. For a sweet treat, a special dessert is on the menu: chocolate mousse with ganache, red wine and raspberry sauce and olive oil tuile. For those planning to stay out late, Eclipse di Luna will transform the restaurant into the Miami Love Lounge around 10:30 p.m. and will feature D.J. Mike Smith turning tracks all night. Couples looking to get a bang for their buck can check out their local Marlow's Tavern location. This neighborhood favorite is featuring a special three-course Valentine's Day menu for $29.99 per person. Serving delicious tavern fare at all six Atlanta area locations, Marlow's Tavern offers a cool spot for this special night on the town.

Morton's Steakhouse marries its signature steak and seafood together in one of the best Valentine's Day four-course menu deals around. For just $99.99 for two, each person enjoys a single-cut filet; choice of seafood options including Morton's jumbo lump crab cake, Shrimp Alexander or broiled sea scallops; choice of Caesar or Morton's salad; and a choice of Morton's legendary hot chocolate cake or Key lime pie for dessert. It's time for Valentines at Uncle Julio's Casa Grande, where they are serving up a plate of love for two from Monday, February 9 through Sunday, February 15. The restaurant's Plato de Amor is a cold water lobster tail, shrimp brochette, chicken and beef fajitas, as well as guacamole, pico de gallo, rice and beans. Guests can end the night on a sweet note with Uncle Julio's famous coconut flan or cinnamon sugar-covered churros; a treat that is sure to satisfy. If you'd rather stay in this V-day, Whole Foods Market has got this year's hottest reservation at home. Couples can keep a few more bucks in their pockets and spend some sweet time together by cooking up a romantic meal in their very own kitchen. Whole Foods also offers a fresh flower selection, choice of gourmet cheeses and chocolates and an array of gifts for him or her. Whole Foods Market has seven Atlanta area locations.

For those couples looking to celebrate outside the city, Wolf Mountains Vineyards and Winery in Dahlonega is an excellent escape. The winery is hosting its third annual Valentine Gourmet Dinner on Saturday, February 14 at 7 p.m. This special event is $80 per person and includes a six-course dinner with wine pairings. If brunch works better, Wolf Mountain is also holding a Valentine Brunch on Sunday, February 15 for $30 per person. Woodfire Grill is going all out this Valentine's Day with two different dining options. First, on Monday, February 9, the famous farm-to-table restaurant will host a Fools for Love wine dinner for $100 per person. This special evening will benefit the Georgia Shakespeare Theatre and includes an hors d'oeuvre reception, three-course dinner, wine and cabaret entertainment. Then, on Friday, February 13, Woodfire Grill will offer their full dining room menu in addition to a $65 per person four-course menu which includes a complimentary glass of Cava. On Saturday, February 14, they will offer only the $65 four-course prix fixe menu with several options for each. There will be a vegetarian menu available that night as well.
