Piece of Cake has been whipping up its mouth-watering layer cakes for more than two decades. But until now these made-from-scratch cakes have only been available at the bakery's two Atlanta locations and through metro-Atlanta delivery. This month, Piece of Cake begins shipping its famous layer cakes anywhere in the United States.
The layer cakes are shipped via UPS in the company's specially designed packaging. Cakes are usually delivered between one and two days. Piece of Cake is shipping its nine-inch, three-layer cakes for $32.50 (delivery is extra). Cakes come in eight tantalizing flavors including moist carrot cake with cream cheese walnut frosting, really red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, and one of the company's most popular choices, wonderful white chocolate with cream cheese pecan frosting.
Customers can also try one of the "Cake of the Month" specials such as pineapple layer cake (available March-April), strawberry cake (June-August) and decadent peanut butter cake (September-October).
